There are several key areas where you want to place a rug both outside and inside your home to help keep your floors looking and staying their cleanest. First and most obvious is going to be right outside your entry door. A good choice here would be a larger, rubber mat that has coarse groves to be able to trap all that dirt, mud, and ice beneath everyone’s shoes or boots before the even enter into your home. Another great place to lay down a rug mat would be at the entry point into the most frequently trafficked area of your home. By placing a nice rug mat in these ideal places your floors shouldn’t get as dirty so you will have time to do other things beside cleaning them all day.
