You want to give your home a facelift and something new to look at? I know the feeling, so many notions and ideas of what to do. All the ideas, the anticipation and excitement -you can’t wait, then you start you get a mind blank- can’t remember what to do to where and never mind where to start. Usually it’s too late you’ve already started and you’ve got to do something.

Unless you’re lucky enough to have moved into a new house most of us will have items and bits and bobs that we just can’t part with so work around what you already have. Firstly to make it a less expensive job work around the fabrics already in the room e.g. in the living room work around the colour of the sofa.
You need to decide what your budget is and work around that. You will find that most of the furniture in your home will be fine. So if you’re getting new bedclothes or fabrics-get these first, then pick the colour of your paint as you can get almost any colour you want.
Some simple and inexpensive tips are to rearrange your furniture, that way it will feel like you are walking into a new room without spending any money. Adding simple objects such as nice shells from the beach in your bathroom, pictures on your walls, or even just new photo frames with a few up to date pictures.
And remember don’t to go too crazy with your décor unless you love it because you will have to look at it every day. So make sure you like the colours and design as more than likely it will be a while before you start to decorate again!
And … If all else fails you can spruce up most rooms with a throw, new rug and some cushion covers!!!!
